Five stars for recording quality and performance. I was unaware of this record and had thought Rodney faded with bebop. Those flourishes are still there, but he evolved. Magnificent tone and expression. This is among the best-sounding recordings I have, at least on my rig, and I have thousands of recordings. Highly recommended.
