A sound comparison
I bought both the PCM 24/192 and DSD 128 versions of this recording for comparison, and think after listening several times that DSD 128 has the edge. The performance is wonderful, the sound in both versions is not up to that of the best recent orchestral recording.
Gran versión y espectacular sonido!!!
Brahms Double Concerto - Oistrakh, violin / Fournier, cello / Philharmonia Orchestra
amazing, great, oistrakh incomparable
Sound Great Brahms Double Concerto
Sounds Beautiful and Good Performance.
A wonderful perfomance carefully restored
The LP was one of my first acqusitions bought in January 1970. I have listened to it over and over again, but for the last decade it has been a sleeping beauty. Now you have brough it back in a new glory. For my taste this is the best recording available.
