I good transfer of a famous LP. I personally prefer the 382kh FLAC to the DSD.

This is one of those transfers that leave nothing to be desired. The sound is crystal clear—a real window into Crispin’s ultra-clear voice and diction. Ansermet’s accompaniment is both supportive and distinctive. A real treasure.

While Crespin sings these melodies, you can't imagine wanting to hear them sung by anyone else. Ansermet accompanies sensitively, and the sound is much more present than the old CD. Great stuff.

This is a classic - and muchloved. Have had it both on 4-track tape and CD. Here the background is quiet, there is no digital edge to Crespin's voice and the orchestra is open like a book. Decca's trademark. Can't recommend it strongly enough!

One of the most acclaimed and talentuous French classical singer. She is renowned for her performances of French 19 and 20 th centuries music. Berlioz "nuit d'été" (summer nights) is a classic and this recording really does justice to the late Régine Crespin
