I am not a musician and to me some of Coltrane’s music is challenging to appreciate and enjoy. Not this collection. Ballads with accessible, beautiful playing of his instrument. All fans of Coltrane or jazz should have this quality recording in their collection.

First time listen, sound is incredible like always with HDTT. So relaxing & smooth.

Glad to see this timeless classic in 24/192 quality. Keep up the good work, HDTT!

I just received Coltrane's "Ballads" and the Jim Hall/Bill Evans "Undercurrent" Gold budget CDs. I was really knocked out by the sound quality, especially the Hall/Evans. I own both originally purchased discs and I was really wowed by the Evans tracks compared to the original. Much greater frequency range and clarity. Like a veil was lifted.

I love this, it's my new favorite recording. I think it's the best I've heard.
