Excellent 20th Century Classical Music
Like many people, I heard the name Varese from reading the liner notes on a Frank Zappa album. It made me curious and when I finally found an album of his music I wasn't disappointed. His percussion heavy music is challenging and beautiful at the same time. Ionization is my favorite piece by Varese and it's here in all its glory. The Mehta LA Philharmonic is considered a classic, so you can't really go wrong if you're adventurous in your musical exploring.
A marvellous classic sound.
Good sound quality. I love the dynamics sharpness on this album. Lots of punch. For me, it's one of the best album of classical music having as much dynamite. A very good sound again. I strongly recommend it for high end big systems.
