Somehow during the last half-century I sadly lost my original Argo LP of this recording. This album was my introduction to the remarkable Bax trio, and the Ravel and Debussy performances also ranked very high in my mind's ear. I am absolutely delighted with this excellent transfer. The sound is very clear and airy and I doubt my original LP sounded this good. Ms. Robles of course is an exceptional harpist, and as.an amateur harpist myself, consider these recordings as among the finest performances available of these works. Thank you so much for making this album available again!

great recording, fabulous orchestrations.

As a Debussy and Ravel fan I just had to have this one... and I was not disappointed. Beautiful music recorded very well.

which make me deeply immersed in music.

Flute, harp and viola pose obvious balance issues, both for performance and recording. I am pleased to say these are met with aplomb here. The result is a lovely chamber concert for these unusual forces, with the highlight being the sensuous Ravel Introduction and Allegro.
