From Music-Web International:

"Though the resulting performance may not put luminaries like Eugen Jochum and the Bavarian Radio Chorus and Symphony in the shade, it is of an extremely high standard and deserves serious consideration even in such company....It might well be the best recording anyone has ever made of Bruckner's Mass No. 3....It helps Bruckner immensely to be heard on such a large scale in a big place."

From The American Record Guide:

"Performers include the large Houston Symphony Chorus, the quite good Moores School Symphony (part of the University of Houston)....The orchestra is only a small step from famous professional groups, and the chorus has the strength to put the Mass over convincingly.  Conductor Krager has a fine concept of Bruckner and holds things together very well....This is a very fine job all around..."

From Audiophile Audition:

"An excellent version of the Mass on an audio-only Blu-ray. [I] find the Houston forces to be top rate and probably the equal of other recorded versions. The chorus alone is over 150 strong."
