Listening over and over. Pleasure.
Happy to find classical recording in dsd
I can only add to what earlier reviewers have stated, that these classic performances have never sounded better than here. For those who find Walter's brand of affectionate fin de siècle gemutlichkeit in Mozart irresistible, do not hesitate.
Another outstanding DSD256 transfer by HDTT, this time of the classic Walter accounts of Mozart's last two symphonies, which leaves the CBS CD versions, which I owned in the early 90's, in the dust. The clarity, detail and presence of the recordings are astonishing, considering their vintage. Highly recommended.
Walter and Mozart, with solid transfert. Impressive !
