One of the best ensembles and sound of any LP I own...and this is as close to analog as I have experienced without the draw backs vinyl can have....the 256 is a MUST hear & own IMO...Big Ben will almost scare you first hearing and fills the entire room ....wonderful each time!
The vocals are raspy as excepted as this was near the end of her life. A very "she's in room" singing to you feel in this re-issue/remaster.
While this recording was late in career, it's got some great songs and you can hear the raspiness in her voice. An excellent recording that's over 60 years old !
With the new high definitions it is possible to enjoy old records better than many current ones
As if she was here, a very lively performance by Billie Holiday
